I loved this game and I loved this series. The characters feel real and the writing feels very kind and empathic, but it still maintains the sci-fi fantasy thrill of action and discovery.  My only frustration is that I can't immediately the next episode in the series but I trust that the creators are taking the time they need to be able to make the game that they wanna make. Hell yeah!

Why does this one and allegiance follow the non-canon route tho? The true end to reborn is just ignored in favor of the author's preferred plot, why? Don't VNs usually follow the storyline of the golden ending?

Is it really a True Ending in the sense you mean, if the author's preferred plot is going down a different storyline?

Yes it's the True End because the one I speak of is labeled as such in the gallery and upon completing said ending in story mode, which you'd know if you actually played the source material instead of posting to be contrarian.

People can change their mind.

I know that the ending that you talk about is the True End in regards to Rising Angels: Reborn, I played all of the endings for crying out loud.
As for you calling that "the source material", there is no source material, this is an original story, and either way, we should be grateful we got at least some kind of continuation of the story, since Rising Angels: Fates isn't out yet, and that is supposed to be the actual sequel to the true end. If you truly knew "the source material", you would know that Judgement is not supposed to be the sequel to the True End, Fates is.

For all you know, Judgement can be simply exploring a different ending which doesn't involve all of the crew being straight up outlaws, at least not right after Reborn's story.

The "source material" in this case IS the author's VN. It doesn't have to be from Type-MOON or some other AAA publishing company to be a source material. And since the sequel's ending, (which is out and complete now) nearly the entire cast is set to be made enemies of some one now anyway. What with the revelation at the end of this one.

Cue "I don't think it means what you think it means" comment.

"source material" implies that this story is closely based on something that's already been written, and follows at least the general storyline of said work. Think Ready Player One and it's movie adaptation.  The book would be the source material. The basic plot and everything is pretty much the same, even though details are different, or missing altogether, but it is pretty much the same exact story (starts the same, follows a similar route, and finally ends the same). This is not the case here.

So hence why the "there is no source material" line. Sure, this is a sequel to something, but the thing that came before is not the source material, as that would imply that this is just a rewrite of Rising Angels: Reborn.

I like the game, but it feels incomplete.  Is this continuing in this game or is there another game coming after this?

Wait, the game really ended there?

New games in series and I arleady love it.

Seeing some charcters in casual clothes was totally different feeling. And I'm still not used to brown uniforms  xD

I was very happy to discover the further fate of the characters from previous games and meet a few new faces.

Artstyle... is great as always. Well-done sprites and backgrounds.

Different points of view, different sides of the same very compicated story.

Great story with a lot of unexpected plot-twists, meaningful choices and few endings. (1 good and true ending + few bad "game over" type)

I don't want to spoil the plot ,but it definitely shows that in difficult situation we can rely on people we love and care about, mutually. The story was great and full of unexpected events.

You should add some kind of "Game Over" screen. I also  found no "The End" or "To be continued" screen.  But I've read some comments below and now I know that I succesfully reached the "good" ending.

Hello! I've played every game in this series (except the one that costs money because I'm a broke high schooler) and I've gotta say that this is some amazing work! SPOILER!!!! When Zuri burst in the courtroom and delivered her introduction line as vice admiral, I literally jumped out of my seat and started laughinggggggg and giggling because the other half of this OTP did that. She did THAT. END SPOILER!!! Also, its great to see the other characters be fleshed out so much! I mean, Natalie will always have the biggest space in my heart, but man! I love this series! My two most favorite things is the sister relationship between Name and Natalie and the balancing act of Name, Newt, and Jade. Thank you so much for this series and the work and effort that has been put into it!

Awesome story so far. Can't wait for the next part! =)

Will there be an option for full screen in the future?

Also I get this error whenever I try to start the visual novel.

Also rollback causes it to crash and ignore doesn't make any difference.

There was an upgrade between 1.0 and 1.01 that messed up a bunch of things. We've fixed it with version 1.02.

Oh cool :)

Hi!

Is the game supposed to end with the introduction of Yoi? I tried different choices but the game always takes me back to the main menu...

Got this though when I looked at options...

Hello!

Yes, that scene was a bit of an epilogue that's going to be leading into the next part.

Not sure how that bug slipped through testing. Fixing it up.

I ended up looking through the raw source (which is surprisingly bundled together with the release - I think this is first time I've seen that), and checked, and yes it was actually supposed to end there.

The ending was quite jarring though, almost felt like in some last-ditch effort to prevent the game from crashing entirely, it just returned to the menu instead.

That being said, can't wait for the next part!
